Sagantec announces: The DFM problem is fixed!

DFM Solution

Sagantec, in collaboration with other leading EDA providers, showcased the ultimate DFM solution at DAC. We presented a complete DFM solution that finds hot spots and eliminates them. The flows deploy process modeling and hot-spot detection by various third-party tools from Blaze DFM, Clear Shape, Mentor Graphics and Ponte Solutions. At the heart of all these flows is Sagantec’s DFM-Fix™, which corrects the design and eliminates these hot spots. DFM-Fix corrects and optimizes any design-level and size in all layers.

Layout Productivity in advanced silicon technologies

We showed automatic implementation and correction of complex design rules, optimal application of recommended rules, and quick implementation of last minute design rule changes. Our tools operate on all design styles - digital and analog.

Layout Migration and Reuse

Layout migration is the most efficient way to reuse a design and get to a new technology implementation faster. We showed a flow for a large core migration addressing non-linear rule transformations to 65nm and 45nm.

Analog and Mixed-Signal layout design acceleration

We showed an automated, constraint-driven approach for the optimization and the technology/library migration of analog and mixed-signal layouts. These flows are seamlessly integrated with the Cadence Virtuoso platform.
